Overview

So, the story is that my father's side of the family has been fairly extensively researched by people who know what they are doing. As more resources become available I will probably put some time into that line, but for now I will concentrate on my mother's side.

Hers has been traced back to about 4 generations in most places, with a few lines that go further than that. However, very little of the information we have has been documented, so I will be focusing on documenting what is available about those ancestors. Hopefully I will be able to validate or correct the broad points we know, and also fill in lots of details as I go.

I'm posting copies of her parents' (my grandparents') pedigrees, with living info removed. You should be able to click for a larger view.

Introduction

The point of this blog is to record the research that I am doing on my family history. I will document what I find, what I don't find, and what I plan to do next.
I hope that keeping track of this will help someone else doing their research, and if you have any questions feel free to contact me. For the most part, though, I will be writing this to myself.
